Repentance

It has been brought to our attention that this blog has been neglected since Feb 29 and is in need of an update. The management offers its profound apologies.

Maisie is rolling over very well now- so well she won't stop. She's rolled off the bed twice (once on Mom's watch, and once on Dad's watch), she rolls everywhere she wants to go, and tries rolling off the changing table every chance she gets. She is not crawling yet, but scoots herself backwards until she gets stuck, then rolls to a different angle, and gets around in any other way she can.

She is sitting up on her own, laughing a lot more now, and LOVES to talk- B's, D's, and M's are her favorite sounds. N's are reserved for when she is unhappy. Luckily, it's usually N+I and not N+O. (ie "ninininini" instead of "No No")

She traveled extremely well on her first extended road trip, driving to Colorado to visit Grandma and Grandpa for Spring Break. She especially loved watching her Arizona cousins, who were also visiting for their Spring Break. But her silly parents were so busy enjoying the visit, they didn't bring out their camera once, and hence have no pictures of the event.

Since she's been home, Maisie, Mom and Dad took a trip downtown to experience together the Zilker Park Zephyr- the local train in the park. It was crowded and busy on a Saturday, and we were all happy to learn there is a closer park with a train that we will try next time.

Maisie goes in for her 9 month check-up in a week, so we'll be sure to update her latest stats.

Love from us in Austin!
